MDA's 2nd Annual
Derby for Duchenne

Now in its 2nd year, Derby for Duchenne is a social event benefiting Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy research that gathers over 250 guests in Kentucky Derby style. The event offers live entertainment provided by Allen Barlow and Jon Campbell from The Negotiators, a silent auction, and fine food and libations.

Time for Large Hats and
Seersucker Suits

MDA's 2nd Annual Derby for Duchenne will take place on the evening of May 1, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm at the Matt Jones Gallery located in the Lakeview District of Birmingham. The event will feature live music, a silent auction, footage of past Kentucky Derby races shown throughout the evening, and juding of "Best Hat" and "Best Dressed!" Staying in the Derby theme, those attending the event will be encouraged to wear large hats and seersucker suits. However, appropriate cocktail attire will be welcomed.
